Baby Cal

About a week ago Cal began talking about the end of his childhood approaching. Last night when I came home from the musical, all the boys, including Adam were watching TV together in the living room, wrapped in blankets. Cal was tucked in a chair with Pat looking like quite the infant, at one point batting at his face which I viewed from behind. He proclaimed, "One and a half more hours till my childhood is over." He's so sentimental like that.

It reminded me of last week while I was watching Eli play his cornet at the music camp concert, I focused on his three fingers poised above the valves, moving up and down, and I saw his toddler fingers and wondered how they transformed from that to this moment.

Arm Meat

I had to post this somewhere, just to see if anyone would notice. This is Betsy's arm meat, not mine. Cal and Betsy are goofing in the Hard Rock Cafe over Memorial Day. Too funny!
