enjoyable Saturday

After working part of Saturday at a drug task force event in Canton, Pat, Cal and I were relaxing in the living room. The first World Series game was on, The Bourne Identity, American Beauty, and Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets. Cal was keen on the latter film (Cards were up by too many)and sitting between Pat and me with blankets all over us. He was completely contented to be in the center of us. He asked, "Are you gellin'?" and we all agreed we were.

Eli was at a "junior high costume party." I was reading "The Unexpected Legacy of Divorce" and thinking about how a divorce would devastate this picture and his safe, comforting world. And people do it everyday without the thought of what they are doing to the children.
